Soooo… I’m just now hearing about the Dennis Mayer and John Hart story. If you’re not up to speed, they are a gay couple who was recently arrested in Dominica for having sex on the balcony of their cruise ship. I was listening to an interview with them on a podcast that I’m subscribed to and, I have to say, they made it sounds horrific, and I’m sure it was! However, they also made it seem as if they were a mile off the coast and people had to have been using binoculars or a telephoto lens to even see them… and, YES, there is photographic proof! So, I Googled and it’s my opinion that there is no way they could have ever thought that they couldn’t be seen. Below is a link to the photo:

I’m sorry that you were detained in a foreign country for 4 days and had to spend $7500 of your own money and have not heard from the cruise line since. But, this photo is far more clear than you said and I think you brought it on yourselves. Even in a gay friendly country this wouldn’t be okay. It wouldn’t be okay for straight people either.
I digress.
